Terry, Chris
Chris Terry is a piper and pipemaker in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape South Africa.

Chris was a pupil of John MacFadyen. John had a full silver Duncan MacDougall bagpipe he used to lend to his pupils. He lent it to Bill Livingstone and also to Chris Terry. This was an amazing pipe and Chris measured it’s bores. He made copy sets from about 1982 or so. They have the bore of the MacDougalls.
Nicholas Taitz’ set of Terry pipes was made about 30 years ago. They are imitation ivory mounts with engraved aluminum metalwork -
