“Over the past twenty-six years I have been trained at the hands of the Gillanders’ Family in Forfar. Their skills were directly handed down from the MacDougalls of Aberfeldy and Robert Hardie of Glasgow. I am keen to carry on this tradition of workmanship which was passed to me, and to maintain the purity and trueness of tone, allied with the fine craftsmanship treasured by my mentors.”
